The brief was to provide an economical building, utilizing cost effective and rapid construction techniques. An image portraying a high quality technology emphasis was essential. The design solution provided a simple curved roof terraced building. utilizing a communal car park to the front with a communal service yard to the rear. A deliberate attempt was made to provide an innovative elevational treatment, utilizing setbacks to emphasise entry points and a diverse range of materials.
