Castlecomer Demense Development Company Commissioned G.M.A to design a new central visitor facility to provide a coal mining interpretive visitor attraction,  restaurant, toilet and retail centre as part of the parks development

The brief required a high quality design that respected the historic character of the adjoining structures, which is listed .

The resultant design blends in to its setting while simultaneously providing bright contemporary visitor centre.
